Community — Overview
The Community tab has two pages: Overview (this page) and Insights. Use the sidebar under Community to switch between them.
The Overview page shows how your trading stacks up against the top traders on Echo Trader. It surfaces your rank, your Echo Score, your P&L, and a leaderboard of top traders — plus side-by-side comparisons that highlight where your patterns differ from leaders on the platform.
Your Rank card
At the top of the page, four tiles summarize your standing:
- Your Rank — your position on the all-time Echo Score leaderboard, with a "Top X%" badge.
- Echo Score — your composite score out of 10, colored by band (green ≥ 7, violet ≥ 4, amber below).
- P&L — your total P&L for the current view (respects your active filters).
- Trades — your total trade count over the number of trading days.
If you haven't synced trades yet, this section will prompt you to do so.
Compare to Top Echo Traders
Below your Rank card, a set of comparison cards shows how you stack up against the average of the top traders on each behavioral pattern:
- Avg P&L / Day and Avg P&L / Day / Account
- Max Drawdown Ratio
- Day Win %
- Trades / Day / Account
- Avg Hold Time
- Most Profitable Hour
- Avg Risk/Reward
- Avg Day Win Streak and Avg Day Loss Streak
Each card shows the leader average and your value side by side. A green up-arrow means you're ahead of the leader average; an amber down-arrow means you're behind. For some patterns (like trade frequency or loss streak), lower is better — the arrows reflect that.
Helpful AI Insights
Below the comparison cards, the Helpful Insights card offers encouragement based on your rank and, when you have enough synced history, up to three AI driven suggestions on where you have the biggest gap to the leader averages. Suggestions are scoped to discipline patterns (risk management, R/R, consistency) rather than style patterns (hold duration, trade frequency) that legitimately vary between traders.
The insights are not personalized financial advice — they surface observed patterns among top traders and let you compare yourself to them.
Top Echo Traders leaderboard
At the bottom of the page, the leaderboard lists the top 10 traders. Each row shows:
- Rank
- Echo Score (all-time)
- P&L (respects the current date filter, if set)
- Trades, Days, Trades/Day/Acct, Avg Hold, Avg R/R
Click Details on any row to open a side panel with that trader's Echo Score radar chart and a pattern-by-pattern table comparing them to you.
Ranking toggle
Above the leaderboard, use the Echo Score / P&L toggle to switch the ranking:
- Echo Score (default) — the long-horizon, all-time trust metric. Best for identifying consistently strong traders.
- P&L — sorts by total P&L for the current view. When a date filter is set, this becomes "top traders for this window."
Privacy
Every trader on the leaderboard is anonymized (shown as "Trader #1", "Trader #2", etc.) with their numbers rounded.
Filtering
The filter toolbar at the top of the page mirrors the Metrics filters:
- Connections, Accounts, Contracts — multi-select dropdowns. These filters apply only to your stats, not to the leaderboard. When any of these are set, a small note appears reminding you of this scope.
- Date range — start and end date pickers. Date filters apply to both your stats and the leaderboard (leaders' P&L and pattern comparisons are recomputed for the same window).
Click Apply to run the filters, or Clear to reset. Your filter selections are remembered between visits.
Echo Score in short windows
Echo Score is a long-horizon metric with confidence dampening based on total trades and trading days. On very short date windows (a single day or a few days), most traders' Echo Score will drop toward zero because there isn't enough history to be confident. If you want to see a meaningful ranking on a short window, switch the ranking toggle to P&L.
